DOES YOUR LIFE SEEM LIKE DEATH?
Did you know that when you hit rock bottom, this could be the best thing that has ever happened to you? You may have never reached out for help until you felt completely helpless. Now the question remains…will you now call on Jesus to save you? Will you call on Jesus Christ to give you what you’ll never find on your own…life more abundantly?
Jesus Christ will reach you where you are at…the pit. He will pick you up and cleanse you from all darkness, shame, pain, and addiction. He will save you from yourself. You may feel like you’re trapped inside a Hell on earth. Jesus will pick you up and fill you with His love, life, peace, joy, and freedom.
No one has been made right before God through their own efforts. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s standards of perfection: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Jesus is the only one who fully and perfectly fulfilled all the requirements of the law. You are not right with God because of any righteous acts you have done; He considers them like filthy rags covered in human blood (Isaiah 64:6). The only way you can be right with God is to accept His free gift of righteousness through faith in the blood of His Son, Jesus: “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).
If you have never called on Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, today is the day of salvation. I invite you to pray this prayer aloud from your heart:
“Jesus, I am a sinner and I am in need of a Savior. I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died on the cross and shed Your blood for me.
I believe God raised You from the dead. I believe You are seated at His right hand in heaven.
I receive Your forgiveness of all my sins.
God, You are my Father.
Jesus, You are my Lord and Savior.
Holy Spirit, You live on the inside of me. Fill me with Your power as I yield myself to You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen! ”
*If you prayed this prayer for the first time, let us know. We would love to hear your testimony of His love and grace.
